Gold Coast mum Kat Lane posted video with her 17,000 TikTok followers and shared how she organises her family's belongings when moving.
Using a $12 packet of coloured paper from Kmart, she corresponds each colour to a different room in the new house, then sticks a piece of cardboard on the box.
The products for each room are packed into the correct boxes and placed in the right room upon arrival at the new location.

Within three days of sharing the hack online, the video went viral and received more than 380,000 views.
In the clip she cuts several different colours into strips, then fold the pieces in half and sticks them onto the edges of the box.
On each strip she writes what is in the box while the colour itself represents a different room.?Small pieces of paper were also stuck on door handles to make the process even easier for children, friends and moving professionals.??
